Caring for the Earth 09/14/08 to 02/22/09?

Need to Get Larry Powelson's records and confirm dates
We borrowed two copies of the curriculum from the Philadelphia Yearly Meeting library. We joined the library for a $50 contribution for that year.
We thought the curriculum was well-written and useful--it had food ideas for every meeting, and the kids enjoyed the activities.
We also paired the curriculum with monthly trips to pull ivy at Frink Park. We started off that service work with instruction from someone from Friends of Frink Park (or some similar organization--Wallis Bolz/Larry Powelson organized it). Kids and adults brought tools and we often recruited additional adults from the Meeting to come help during Meeting for Worship.
