Our Quaker Library

Our Quaker Library strives to collect, preserve, and circulate titles about the Quaker tradition and its values, or that relate to religious, spiritual, and social justice interests of our Quaker community. With this mission in mind, we have gathered together books, pamphlets, periodicals, and DVDs which are catalogued into the following categories:

Our Library is located for browsing and self-checkout in a large, mobile cabinet adjacent to our worship space. Titles are circulated using simplicity and integrity: Borrowers are asked to complete the checkout form in our Library, enjoy their selections, and then return items within a few weeks for others to enjoy. If the library is closed, please contact the clerk of meeting clerk@southseattlefriends.org or ask the person assigned to close the meeting after worship if access is possible.

We feel blessed by the generosity of Friends who have contributed to our Library and joyfully share our collection with all who seek in finding the Light. Please contact our librarian for further information.  For the full catalogue, please click here.
